Key Responsibilities:
Transporting patients to and from medical facilities/APPOINTMENTS in a safe and timely manner.
Ensuring patient comfort and safety during transportation.
Assisting patients as they enter and exit the vehicle as necessary.
Following AN ASSIGNED daily pick-up schedule.
Communicating effectively with patients, medical staff, and the dispatch team.
Maintaining accurate records of patient pick-up and drop-off times and odometer readings.
Performing routine vehicle maintenance checks daily before starting the first trip.
Reporting any incidents or accidents to the supervisor immediately.
Transporting all patients without discrimination.
Required Qualifications:
Valid Driver's License.
Clean driving record with no more than 4 points.
Ability to pass pre-hire drug and alcohol testing.
Ability to pass a comprehensive background check (FBI/BCI).
High School Diploma or GED.
Ability to assist patients as needed (but not lift).
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous customer service experience.
First Aid and CPR certification.
Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance.
Additional Notes:
This role requires compassion, reliability, and responsibility.
Drivers must be able to communicate effectively and have a great working knowledge of GPS.
Experience in non-emergency medical transportation or with individuals with mobility challenges is a plus.
